Minor Vacuum Servo Error

Postby admin » Thu Jul 30, 2015 8:57 pm

The Minor Vacuum Servo Error is reported by the system when the vacuum pump can not create enough of a vacuum for the step that the system is performing.

For example, the other day I had this error when I was shutting down the printheads.
When I checked in Diagnostics the Vac Pump "Counts" I could see the pump was running as fast it could be as the counts was really high.

After checking the system I could see that the Vac Filter (the one usually covered in insulation on the Waste Tank) was old and needed replacing, it had been contaminated by ink.

Once replaced, the vacuum could get through the filter and when I checked diagnostics again, the vac pump was not running as high as it was. The error had gone away and was running ok again.
